While many accountants might not consider forestry when they’re pursuing their profession, not Jayna. She finds her role as a Production Accountant to be challenging and exciting. Her typical workday has her in the office managing funds, making sure everything is where it needs to be, ensuring everybody is getting paid, calculating the daily production, and doing up reports for the managers. “The job of an accountant is really to provide information to managers so that they can make more informed decisions,” adds Jayna.
