Christopher Bayduza Memorial Award

Scholarship Overview

Awarded to students with satisfactory academic standing (minimum 3.0 GPA) entering the third or fourth year of the Bachelor of Science in Agriculture or the Bachelor of Science in Environmental and Conservation Sciences (ENCS) program in the Faculty of Agricultural, Life and Environmental Sciences. Recipients must be majoring in Animal Science, Range and Pasture Management, Conservation Biology, or Wildlife and Rangeland Resources Management. Preference will be given to students who are members of the Range Management Team and who participate actively in planning or volunteering for extracurricular activities (particularly Agriculture Club activities) and/or demonstrated environmental stewardship.

Established by family and friends of Christopher Bayduza (BSc ENCS 1995) to celebrate Christopher’s love of life, learning, and the outdoors. Christopher was a member of the UofA Range Management Team (1993-1995) and an active member of the UofA Agriculture Club (1991-1995).

Nominated and awarded by the Faculty of Agricultural, Life and Environmental Sciences.
