Alberta-Pacific Portage College Student Scholarships

Through our partnership with Portage College, we offer two $1,000 scholarships each year. The scholarships are available to Portage College students who are enrolled in full-time studies. The scholarship is awarded to one student in each of the following groups:

Group A

• Accounting Technician
• Business Administration Certificate or Diploma
• Office Administration
• Emergency Medical Responder
• Emergency Medical Technician
• Emergency Medical Technician-Paramedic

Group B

• Natural Resource Technician
• Apprenticeship Electrician
• Heavy Equipment Operator
• Power Engineering 4th or 3rd Class
• Apprenticeship Steamfitter/Pipefitter
• Apprenticeship Welder

To be considered for the scholarship, students must meet all of the following criteria:

• Be involved in extracurricular activities.
• Maintain a high academic standing.
• Grew up or currently live in the local community for a minimum of five years (100 km radius of the Millsite).
