We are excited to announce the opportunity for a dynamic, positive, outgoing
individual to fill the position of Environmental Coordinator. This is a key role in
our organization and will require an organizationally strong leader that likes to learn,
grow and contribute in a team setting.
Candidates would have worked in manufacturing facilities and managed the
Operating Approvals and reporting requirements. Ideally this would have been in
the forest products sector, with knowledge of wood preservation an asset. Must be
familiar with reporting systems such as EPA, AMD, GHG, NPRI, AEIR and hazardous
waste and recycling programs.
Working knowledge of groundwater, soils and related monitoring aspects are
needed for oversight of our respected environmental consulting firm.
The position is focussed on ensuring environmental compliance as the primary
role. In addition, the Environmental Coordinator provides support for the operations team in the areas of Health and Safety, PIR Auditing (COR), WHMIS and TRD
programs.

Qualifications: A degree or diploma in environmental sciences, C.Tech/C.E.T.s or
related field, 3 to 5 years experience in managing operating approvals, preferably in
Alberta.
