Journeyperson Heavy Duty Mechanic

This position offers a challenging, diverse and exciting opportunity to become part of our team and requires an individual who will perform a variety of tasks related to the safe and efficient application of the technical skills and knowledge of a Heavy Duty Mechanic. Duties involve the repair and maintenance of industrial equipment such as: forklifts, loaders, butt-n-top, Jenbacher gas engines and other mobile equipment. Continually ensuring the quality and standards of service to safety and production must be maintained.

Our ideal candidate possesses:

  • A valid Inter-Provincial or Provincial Journeyperson heavy duty mechanic certification
  • Ability to read manuals and schematics
  • Experience in troubleshooting and repairing equipment
  • Industrial engine experience
  • Innovative and problem-solving skills
  • Commitment to working safely and creating a safe work place
  • Ability to work independently with little supervision
  • Organizational and planning skills

Considered a strong asset:

  • Millwright Experience
