Certified Electrician

High Level, Alberta

Are you electrically minded with a passion for troubleshooting and continuously improving equipment reliability?

Reporting to the Maintenance Supervisor, Electricians work as part of a team to carry out maintenance programs and projects within an industrialized environment. As a member of a high performance team, you will be responsible to troubleshoot, maintain and repair industrial, electrical equipment and controls.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Certified Electrician with a valid Interprovincial ticket;
  • A strong background in the use of PLC & HMI systems to assist in troubleshooting issues;
  • Strong problem solving skills;
  • Commitment to working safely coupled with strong communication & interpersonal skills;
  • Ability to work independently with little supervision;
  • Organizational and planning skills as well as proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook considered an asset;
  • Experience with CMMS systems and JD Edwards;
  • Previous experience in a forest products environment considered an asset.
