The Production Shift Team Leader coaches employees to ensure safe and productive work habits. The Production Shift Team Leader is also accountable for properly reporting maintenance and safety issues. In addition, this role is responsible for optimizing productivity and recovery. The primary challenge of this position is meeting production and staffing schedules within budget.

Qualifications:

  • Demonstrated supervisory experience in an industrial production environment, with shift work experience
  • Strong people skills with the ability to inspire and motivate others
  • Demonstrated safe working habits and a commitment to support Tolko’s safety philosophy
  • Excellent organizational and planning skills
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
  • Minimum grade 12 education or equivalent
  • Good working knowledge of OSB manufacturing
  • Continuous press experience an asset
