We are currently seeking a full time, temporary CMMS Coordinator within the Maintenance Department. The CMMS Coordinator serves as the main contact for any issues encountered with the Avantis system and is also the single point contact to the external support desk for this system or with any products that run in conjunction with the Avantis system.  The term of this position will extend until December 31, 2023, with the possibility of extension.

 

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Liaise between CMMS – Avantis users and Systems on site
  • Monitor all aspects of Avantis to assure the product performing efficiently in all aspects and the users are not impacted
  • Perform Avantis training for MPR team members, as well as general team member upkeep on Avantis
  • Maintain and monitor the preventive maintenance program
  • Testing of new releases of Avantis, as well as other software
  • Act as the single-point contact with off-site software support
  • Utilize the information stored in the Avantis database to create reports
  • Locate, correct, and complete any requisitions, work orders, or work requests as needed
  • Create and or modify Avantis Cabinets, Avantis Excel reports, or Crystal reports
  • Monitor the Workflow server as needed
  • Assist planners with scheduling and resource management
  • Update and create new parts lists for entities, as well as monitor for suspended items and remove
  • Source parts for stores/purchasing departments and identify items not being used / not required to help keep costs and delivery times down when required
  • Additional duties as required

 

Qualifications and Experience

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Strong knowledge of payables, purchasing, inventory, warehousing, and accounting practices
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to effectively work with others using a team-based approach
  • Highly developed organizational skills, with the ability to manage ever-changing priorities
  • Strong analytical, problem solving and decision-making skills
  • Proficient use of Microsoft Office Suite, and G-suite
  • Proficient knowledge of Crystal Report writing will be considered an asset
