Millar Western’s Fox Creek Wood Products Division is seeking an experienced Journeyperson Millwright to join our maintenance team. The Journeyperson Millwright will work as part of a team providing operational repairs and maintenance services to our sawmill operation.

The ideal candidate

The ideal candidate will have several years of experience in a lumber mill environment and above-average trouble-shooting skills, mechanical and welding repair capacity, and organizational ability.  Experience with computerized maintenance systems, predictive and preventive maintenance, hydraulic troubleshooting, and Servo and proportional systems and equipment rebuilds would be an asset.

This position will include shiftwork, and candidates are required to have their own basic tools.  This position offers competitive wages and an excellent benefits package.
