Under the general direction of the Mechanical Maintenance Supervisor, the Mechanical Maintenance Planner is responsible for the safe planning of manpower, tools, equipment, and materials for regular and shutdown maintenance of Tolko’s Athabasca OSB mill.
Qualifications:
- Five years’ experience working in a production/industrial environment
- Three years of supervisory related work experience in a production/industrial environment
- Experience in the use of computerized maintenance systems, preferably JD Edwards
- Major maintenance outage/turn-around planning experience
- Basic knowledge of project management concepts
- Basic knowledge of stores/spare parts management concepts
- Sound understanding of preventive and predictive maintenance practices
- Microsoft Office application, particularly Excel, MS Project or similar scheduling applications
- Engineering technologist or journeyman status not required but is an asset
